The Hampton Roads region of Southeastern Virginia is embarking on an ambitious transformation over the coming years to meet its resilience objectives in five key areas, including Critical Systems Functionality. The region is looking to re-establish and maintain critical systems functionality to a defined critical urban facility. Proposals should address portable systems deployable within two hours and able to provide 72 hours of continuous functionality to critical services.

Hampton Roads, in partnership with RISE Resilience, seeks innovative products and approaches that address five key resilience topics. RISE will use up to $1 million in its Resilience Innovation Fund to support teams with financially sustainable solutions that enhance the resilience of coastal communities, can be demonstrated in Hampton Roads, and are scalable to other coastal communities. Innovations will also be considered for full-scale regional follow-on contracts.
